This holiday beer is from Samuel Adams Brewmaster’s Collection. A deep red color, a rich malty aroma, and a holiday helping of spices make this beer worth of the Brewmaster Collection. First off, the malts hit the pallet and taste very rich, a mild chocolate and caramel fill the mouth leading up to the holiday spices to finish. Now I’m not a big fan of cinnamon or ginger, which this beer is spiced with, but the ginger doesn’t overpower and the cinnamon bites just enough to tingle and wash away the heavy malts. On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, Five tasty beers!
