Wow! I forgot to smell this one first and the first drink took me off guard. This has a similar taste to another beer I’ve had recently, with a “spicy” flavor. There are a lot of hops and this amber ale packs a big punch with a strong 8% ABV. There are some caramel tones and smooth malts to round out this great ale which has won numerous awards in the 90’s.
