A good dark beer is just what this holiday is calling for! It has a nice sweet, yet bitter taste with almost a coffee taste to it. The bitter after taste is that of the last bit of good coffee in the pot. As with almost any of the Sam Adams I have had, I would recommend this to anyone. I have had most of their beers, and my wife has delivered the sampler pack to the home with one condition: She is allowed to drink all of the Cranberry Lambric! I will have to let her step in and review that one!
