Pomegranate beer?! Well they’ve done it and it’s pretty tasty. Saranac’s unique combination of unfiltered wheat beer and pomegranate juice as the fermenting sugars turned out to be a sweet and wheaty beer. No its doesn’t taste like POM (pure juice), but the flavor is there, adding a nice sweet taste that is light and enjoyable with a mild tart to finish. Maybe this is the beer to help that friend move from fru-fru drinks to some good beer.
