Horray Oktoberfest! This traditional style Oktoberfest lager from Millstream Brewing Co. would pair excellent with any fall meal or some of those last cookouts of the season. Oktoberfest has a strong flavor of grains and a slight caramel flavor giving this beer a smooth full bodied taste. As I lifted the glass to take my drink I was suprised by the strong aroma of hops that added just the right amount of bitterness to offset the strong grains. I know Oktoberfest may be over, but I don’t intend to wait till next year to find more excellent seasonal brews.
